Victoria Baskett is a native of Fayetteville, NC. She recently obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sport Science with a minor in Spanish for the Medical Professions from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was actively involved in the Carolina Kids for the Kids Foundation, Musical Empowerment, the UNC Symphony Band, Phi Mu Sorority and the UNC Panhellenic Council. She served on the CFTK Publicity and Hospital Committees, as UNC Panhellenic VP of Recruitment, and as a flute teacher. She is now employed as a National Chapter Consultant with Phi Mu Fraternity, and is your reigning Miss Fayetteville 2016.

Victoria's expertise is apparent to hospital leadership and as a result, she has served as a spokesperson, has provided the keynote addresses on patient safety and experience, launched the 2016 National Patient Safety Week on a local level with different facilities, and has sat on rapid-fire panels discussing the challenges of communication and safety in the healthcare industry. Victoria has lobbied on behalf of the NC Hospital Association in Raleigh, is a published author for the North Carolina Quality Center on patient and family engagement, is published as a Group Editor for standards that have now been adopted by 1600 hospitals, and has helped launch patient family advisory councils for local hospitals.
