Certified Patient Experience Professional: 

Our Founder and President, Victoria received her Certified Patient Experience Professional Certification in November of 2017. The certification, awarded by Patient Experience Institute (PXI), signifies that recipients possess the qualities of a leader who influences the systems, processes, and behaviors that cultivate consistently positive experiences with knowledge and practical experience necessary to pass a rigorous examination. In addition, achievement of certification highlights a commitment to the profession and to maintaining current skills and knowledge in supporting and expanding the field of patient experience.

February 25th, 2017: Victoria Baskett Patient Safety Day in Fayetteville, North Carolina:

Nat Robertson, the Mayor of Fayetteville named February 25th, 2017 Victoria Baskett Patient Safety Day in honor of the commitment and dedication to make a difference in the world of healthcare that our Founder and President, Victoria Baskett has done not only in her local community, but across the globe.

 

North Carolina Association of Electric Cooperatives STEM Scholarship Recipient:

 

The NC Association of Electric Cooperatives partnered with the North Carolina Educational Scholarship Fund to underwrite five $1000 scholarships for young women in the Miss North Carolina Organization whom study in the science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) fields. Members of the Class of 2016 who are actively pursuing a STEM course of study at the undergraduate or graduate level may apply for a STEM scholarship. Victoria, our President, was selected for her studies at UNC Chapel Hill and her future graduate studies in Healthcare Administration. 

 

2016 Miss America Community Service Award, North Carolina Recipient:

 

The Miss America Community Service Award is a $52,000 scholarship ($1,000 to a recipient in each of the 52 states) that recognizes a contestant at the state pageant who demonstrates exemplary community service. The decision is made based off of their involvement with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and their own personal community service platform and/or project. Victoria, our President, was the 2016 North Carolina Recipient for her involvement with CMN Hospitals and the Victoria Baskett Patient Safety Foundation as her platform. 

 

2016 World Patient Safety, Science & Technology Summit Patient Story:

 

In March of 2015, Victoria was appointed to the Patient Safety Movement National Handoff Communications (Actionable Patient Safety Solution #8) Revisory Workgroup. The workgroup has revised documentations, checklists, and information provided to over 1,600 hospitals in the United States. Together, they are working towards the goal of "zero preventable deaths by 2020."

 

At the 2016 World Patient Safety, Science & Technology Summit in California, Victoria's patient story was shared to a sold-out, invitation only group of 300 individuals from all over the world including; healthcare professionals, policy makers, patient and family advocates and innovative healthcare technologists.

 

 

 

 

2015 Health Literacy Month Award Winner:

 

October is Health Literacy Month. In October of 2015, Victoria Baskett was recognized as a Health Literacy Hero on the Health Literacy social media webpage. Health Literacy is about finding the right words for better health. Health Literacy Heroes are individuals, teams, and organizations who identify health literacy problems and act to solve them.
